There's No Place Like Home is a design store for the home, offering unique gifts and accent furniture with an Asian influence and a moderate price range. 		Our environmentally friendly line of clothing is made from bamboo, a sustainable crop grown without pesticides.  It is hypoallergenic,odor resistant and breathable. The owners of the shop, Michael Thunder and Deborah Demme, have over 30 years of retail experience between them. They have owned stores in Iowa City, Iowa; Wilmington, North Carolina; Charleston, South Carolina and now, Durango, Colorado. Perhaps the Asian Influence in this store has to do with Michael having lived in Japan or Deborah having studied Asian Art.
